CHFIL in Hong Kong (Day 2)
2nd day in Hong Kong and it's our official work day!
Woke up at around 9am and had breakfast! If there's anything I loved most about this trip, it's staying at Shangri-La and having yummy buffet breakfast everyday. Unlimited crispy bacon, anyone?
Went back to our room after breakfast to get ready for two Can't Help Falling In Love screenings at Caine Road Community Hall.
Beautiful view from my bed and our room! Especially at night.
We got there a few minutes after the first screening started and it was so much fun hearing everyone's reactions to it! Kath & DJ signed some merch for the fans and a little over an hour later, they came out to finally see the fans!
Here's a first: we contacted fan groups from all over Asia -- Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia -- and gave them the chance to talk to Kath, DJ, and Direk Mae as well as the fans from HK!
We decided to take a short break after (and while waiting for the 2nd screening to finish) to explore around the area and eat dessert! Direk Mae suggested this bingsu place and it really didn't disappoint. It was so good!!!
Some photos while waiting for our cab. HAHAHA!
Having some fun before heading back to the screening! Everyone wanted to take "crossing-the-street" photos so they crossed the tiny street and walked back a couple times just to get some shots. Lels.
The trio also went up for a 2nd round of the Skype conference.
We were able to meet and talk to some fan groups (Joshua's, MayWard's) and they loved the movie as well.
Photos of what's around the venue. It's such a nice neighborhood! After the screening, we rode an Uber going to the restaurant where we're going to have dinner, and we got a lavish Tesla. Amazing.
After dinner, Sir Mico and I walked around the area. We visited the Apple Store of course, then walked some more back to the hotel while he went live on his Instagram. I really don't mind walking around when in another country. You see so much more than the usual sights and tourist spots and whatnot.
Because it was a Mancom Monday the next day, I decided to stay in and do my report while everyone else went out. Booooo.
